A Wall and Floor Printer That Prints Both Surfaces in One Visit

The GP200B is the wall and floor printer in the WallPrintJet range, built for advertising companies and commercial project teams who sell a printed wall and a printed floor on the same site.

It prints the wall, turns its printhead down to the floor in 2 minutes without moving the rails, and prints the floor in front of it: one machine, one crew, one trip.

It takes Epson DX10, DX7, I1600 or I3200 printheads, prints 2.5 m high on walls as standard, and packs down to 40 cm tall for the car.

Who it is for

Four Businesses That Buy the GP200B Wall and Floor Printer

The GP200B is for businesses whose quotations carry a floor line as well as a wall line, at the same address.

  • GP200B wall and floor printer beside a printed fruit logo brand wall
    Advertising and sign companies

Brand wall behind the counter, graphic on the floor in front

Clients want a brand wall and a floor graphic, a printed walkway in a mall or a logo on the floor of an event stand. Both pieces come from the artwork your studio already prepares, printed by one machine on one visit.
    • Brand wallWall line
    • Floor logo or walkwayFloor line
  • Printed dinosaur window mural on a feature wall in a play area
    Commercial space projects

Feature walls and floor zones on one schedule

Fit-out teams on shops, showrooms, hotel lobbies, offices, schools and play areas price feature walls and floor zones together. The GP200B stands on one rail along the wall, prints the wall, then prints the floor zone from the same position.

Floors on your price list without a second machine

You already sell printed walls. The GP200B runs the same software, ink and print modes on both surfaces, so your operator adds floor work to what they already know.
    • Walls you sell todayWall line
    • New floor workFloor line
  • Open car boot used to carry the packed wall and floor printer
    Operators who drive to site

Upright in a car boot, not lying flat

With the upright rail removed the GP200B stands 40 cm tall, so it travels upright in a car boot or a small van.
    • Transport height40 cm
    • Control box, carried by hand10 kg

Need walls only? The four machines in the range are compared side by side on the Wall Printers page, and the lightest of them is the GP200 rail wall printer.

Key features

Eight Features of the GP200B Wall and Floor Printer

The first four make up the fold-and-turn build no other series in the range has. The last four are shared by all four series, shown here on the GP200B.

  1. GP200B printhead unit turned to face the floor, red positioning cross on the floor

    Folding, extending printhead

The printhead unit folds, rotates and extends. The same mechanism that turns it toward the floor tucks it against the body for transport and reaches further out for printing.
  2. Pull-along flight case with aluminium edges for the folded machine

    Folding upright rail

The upright rail folds and comes off, leaving a machine 40 cm tall that one person stands on end in the vehicle. It also travels in a pull-along flight case.
  3. GP200B control box marked WALL PRINTER and printhead unit in front of a test print

Hand-carried control box, split rail, aviation plugs

The 10 kg control box travels separately, the floor rail comes apart into sections that stack in the boot, and every cable locks in with an aviation plug that holds while printing and parts quickly when you pack up.
  4. GP200B wall and floor printer seen from the side on its belt-driven floor rail

    Belt-driven floor rail, servo motors

The machine moves along a belt-driven floor rail on servo motors. The rail carries a higher load and keeps its height over long use, so the carriage stays on line pass after pass.
  5. GP200B ink tank block with four low-ink alarm sensors, one lit red

Ink level alarm and white ink stirring

A warning before any ink runs low, and white ink kept moving so it does not settle in the lines.
  6. Electric ink suction tool with two printhead caps held at the GP200B

    Electric ink suction, heated printheads

Draws ink faster than a hand pump and caps a DX10 head overnight; heating holds the heads at working temperature.
  7. LED UV lamp unit with adjustment for temperature and light intensity

    Adjustable UV lamp

Temperature and intensity knobs match curing to the surface, which matters when one visit moves from wall paint to a coated floor.
  8. HD touchscreen mounted on the GP200B upright rail showing the print queue

    Dual ultrasonic sensing, touchscreen control

Two sensors move the head in and out on uneven surfaces; the basic print workflow on the HD touchscreen takes about 10 minutes to learn.

Unique configuration

Three Parts Only the GP200B Has

Three parts of the GP200B build belong to this machine alone in our range: the 2-minute switch, the floor rail and the patented body.

Wall to floor in 2 minutes, rails in place

Nothing is lifted, relaid or levelled again. The software, ink and print modes are the same in both positions.

3 m floor rail for floors up to 2.3 m wide

For floor printing the GP200B runs on a 3 m wide floor rail and prints a floor area up to 2.3 m wide inside it. Floor results depend on the material and its finish: a smooth floor takes a coating before printing, and we recommend a test print on the client's actual floor before you quote the job.

Registered design patent on the body

The shape of the GP200B body is registered as a China design patent. It protects the appearance of the machine, so the GP200B on your client's site has a body of its own, and the certificate comes with the quotation on request.

Printhead

  • Epson DX10 printhead, also sold as TX800

    DX10

  • Two Epson DX7 printheads on a workbench

    DX7

1440 nozzles, sitting between the DX10 and the I1600 on speed, life and clog resistance.
  • Tiger artwork printed on a wall with an Epson I1600 printhead

    I1600

An original Epson head with 1600 nozzles and larger openings that resist clogging, fire steadily through long wall-and-floor sessions and purge air in one pass.

    I3200 Top head

The top head for the GP200B, printing at 720 × 1200 by default.

Build and extras

  • 3 m height or a custom build to 4 m

For walls above the standard 2.5 m print height, the machine is built 3 m high or custom-built up to 4 m.
  • UPS power

A UPS added to the machine keeps it printing through a power cut instead of stopping mid-image.
  • Your logo on the machine

Your brand goes on the body, so clients see it while it prints their wall and floor.
GP200B front view with a logo panel fitted on the upright rail
  • WiFi image transfer

The operator sends wall and floor files from a laptop without running a cable to the machine.
  • Chinese, English or Russian software

The control software is set to the language your operator works in.
  • CMYK + W white ink

Adds a white underbase for dark walls, so colours print true on dark backgrounds. More on the white ink wall printer page.
